This 2 slice grey toaster from Andrew James includes 6 browning levels so you can achieve your perfect slice of toast. Set the colour controller to the desired setting – the lowest setting achieves a pale, barely toasted slice while the highest offers a darker slice with a crunch. Please note that the settings will toast darker for 1 slice than for 2. If you want to cancel, simply press the ‘cancel’ button and the cool-touch handle will spring up.
To use the defrost function, set the colour controller to the desired setting and press the defrost button. It will then light up, indicating it has been engaged. To reheat toasted bread, place it in the slot and press the reheat button. You can also avoid burned fingers with the help of the convenient anti-jam lever, which raises the level of the slot to make it easier to retrieve smaller items such as tea cakes and crumpets.
When you want to use the detachable warming rack, simply attach the rack to the top of the toaster above the slots, and place the buns or other ingredients flat on the warmer rack. Then, push the lever of the appliance downwards until it locks into place.
