How Do I Use My Andrew James Ice Cream Maker Machine?
Pre-freezing the inner bowl takes around 8 hours so we recommend that you pop it in the freezer the night before your ice cream making session. Make sure you prepare your ice cream or sorbet mix and allow the mix to cool in the fridge beforehand.
Once you have your bowl ready, making ice cream, sorbet, or frozen yoghurt will take around 20 to 30 minutes. Remove the inner bowl from the freezer and put it into the outer bowl, and lower the assembled lid/power unit/paddle into the bowl before turning it clockwise to lock into position. Now you can switch on your machine and add your ice cream mix using the handy chute – the ice cream maker must be switched on before you add your mix to prevent it from freezing on the inside of the inner bowl. Ingredients should be added gradually through the large funnel and will be churned as they freeze to give a deliciously creamy consistency.
