Hyundai’s DHY22KSE three-phase diesel generator is a robust piece of equipment. This diesel generator has a maximum output of 22KVA and is ideal for powering three-phase equipment in your residence, company, or factory.

Hyundai engine with plenty of power

In addition to its 22KVA/18kW maximum output, it is powered by a 31 horsepower HY490 diesel engine, which is mounted on the DHY22KSE.

Three-Phase Electrical Power

Generally speaking, three-phase 400/230v generators are designed to provide electricity to 400 volt, three-phase equipment. Even while you can use them to power a limited quantity of 230v equipment on a single-phase basis, this is not their intended use, and it may be difficult to ‘balance’ the phases and keep the generator from tripping off when using them this way.

It will be necessary to precisely ‘balance’ the loads on each phase in order to operate the generator on just 230v output and attain the generator’s maximum output capacity (the amount you are drawing from each phase of electricity).

AVR Alternator has been installed.

Compatible with the ATS

An ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) system may be used to automatically switch on the generator when a loss of power to the property is detected, or the DHY22KSE can be started manually by pressing the key on its handle. When the electricity from the mains is restored, the ATS module will securely shut down your generator.

This is great for individuals who want continual electricity, such as those who operate servers or who have refrigeration units in their homes.

kVA ratings for generators

We have kVA ratings that are greater than the kW on all of our generators. The reason for this is because we have assumed the appliances you want to power have a load factor/power factor of 0.8, and as a result, the ‘assumed’ kVA rating of the load would be greater than the actual. This is normal practise in the industry, and it is generally advisable to scope the appropriate unit depending on the kW.
