MIG Welder, Single Phase
Hyundai’s HYMIG-200I is a heavy-duty and very adaptable single-phase MIG welder. The HYMIG-200I can weld mild steel from 0.8mm to 8mm thick.
The HYMIG-200I is simple to move owing to its mounted handles on the high duty steel case with powder-coated finish for increased corrosion protection and trolley wheels with Gas bottle storage at the back, weighing just 48kg. MIG welding torch with 3m cable, earth clamp with 2.5m cable, and brush are included as accessories.
Regulator with No Steps
The HYMIG-200I MIG welder has a stepless regulator that allows for limitless variable control of the welding current, as well as a low current facility for successful welding of thinner materials. The HYMIG-200I’s welding (output) current may be controlled between 50 and 200 amps, making the HYMIG-200I adaptable to welding different materials and thicknesses of steel.
Always check the ‘Duty Cycle’ to avoid buying low-quality devices. The duty cycle is the length of time a welder may be utilised on a specific output within a 10-minute period. For example, when utilised on 200A output, this 200A welder has a duty cycle of 60%. (MIG). This implies it may be used for six minutes out of every 10 minutes.
Cheaper, lower-quality welders advertise a specific amperage output but might have a very low duty cycle on that output. Always double-check the duty cycle to ensure you’re getting the maximum bang for your buck.
Safety Protection Onboard
Thermal overload protection is included to guarantee optimal endurance. Steel, stainless steel, copper, nickel, titanium, and their alloys are all suitable for welding.
Allrounder
The HYMIG-200I is a good all-arounder for welding, suitable for fabricators, farmers, home mechanics, car and mobile technicians, and DIY enthusiasts, with compatible wire sizes of 0.8mm Flux or 1.0mm Solid Core. The HYMIG-200I has a high-frequency start, which allows for smooth arc strikes.
The HYMIG-200I is exceptionally simple to operate and maintain, thanks to its low service and maintenance needs, and it comes with complete Hyundai UK parts support.
The MIG welding torch with 3m cord and brush are included in the box
along with an Earth clamp with a cable length of 2.5m
Know your welder:
(MMA) Manual Metal Arc – Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA) or (MMAW) Manual Metal Arc Welding is flux shielded arc welding or informally known as stick welding, is a manual arc welding process that uses a consumable electrode covered with a flux to lay the weld.
(TIG) Tungsten Inert Gas – Tungsten Inert Gas Welding (TIG) or (GTAW) Gas Tungsten Arc Welding is an arc welding process that uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld.
(MIG) Metal Inert Gas – Metal Inert Gas Welding (MIG), (GMAW) Gas Metal Arc Welding or (MAG) Metal Active Gas is a welding process in which an electric arc forms between a consumable wire electrode and the workpiece metal(s), which heats the workpiece metal(s), causing them to melt and join.
