The HY3200S is a slow-running belt-drive air compressor for professional and commercial customers, designed to meet the most demanding demands on a daily basis. It is driven by a 3hp 230v electric motor and has a belt drive system for efficient, quiet, and cool performance.

The HY3200S has a maximum pressure output of 145psi / 10bar with a displacement of 14cfm, making it an excellent choice for professional users using high-pressure air-powered equipment. This air compressor is made to last, with a strong cast iron two cylinder block that complies with all of the most recent European Standards.

The HY3200S is a large air compressor with a net weight of 110kg that is perfect for mechanics or engineers that need to do repairs in the field.

Compressor Care: Hyundai air compressor pressure safety valves have been modified to meet the most recent CE certification criteria. The pressure release pull ring has been removed from the safety valve to prevent it from being used to drain air from the compressor tank, which would cause excessive wear on the valve. Air and moisture should constantly be evacuated through the drain valve on the tank’s bottom.

Single-phase with 3 hp

A 2.2kw/2200w/3hp single phase, 230v 50hz electric motor powers the HY3200S compressors. They come with a 13 amp 3 pin plug. The 13 amp plug will suffice for most DIY tasks. However, if the air compressor is operated for more than a 50% duty cycle (motor operating more than half the time), a blue 16 amp connector may be preferable.

The compressor should always be hooked into a wall outlet. If extension leads are utilised, the voltage may decrease, increasing the current and causing the 13amp fuse to overload and blow. This may also be an issue in rural locations where the mains power is less than 230 volts, in which case a 16 amp blue plug is advised.
