The HY140200PS is a strong air compressor powered by a Hyundai 420cc OHV petrol engine that is ideal for professional and commercial applications such as tyre-fitting, heavy plant hire, and powering pneumatic tools.

Designed To Last

The belt-driven, slow-running pump features dual cast iron cylinders for increased longevity and an aluminium cylinder head for improved cooling. When the maximum 10 bar pressure is reached, the engine revs down to idle, then when the air pressure in the tank drops to approximately 8bar, the compressor activates and the engine revs up to 3000rpm.

4 Rubber Footing Points

The compressor is designed to be installed on the floor and includes four rubber feet to minimise vibration. The air pressure regulator controls the two ‘Euro-style air outlets, and a third outlet can be obtained directly from the tank’s end if desired. Two pressure release valves are installed for further safety.

Compressor Maintenance

Hyundai air compressors now include revised pressure safety valves that comply with the newest CE certification standards. The safety valve’s pressure release pull ring has been removed to prevent it from being utilised to drain air from the compressor tank, resulting in excessive valve wear. Always discharge air and moisture through the drain valve situated at the bottom of the tank.

Due to the presence of a petrol engine in this compressor, it must not be utilised in a confined space due to the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
