TIG/MMA/ARC Inverter Welder 200Amp
Hyundai’s HYTIG-200 is a compact and very adaptable single-phase TIG/MMA welder.
Welder on Wheels
The HYTIG-200 weighs 12kg and is lightweight due to its adjustable harness and pressed steel casing with a powder coated finish for added corrosion protection. The HYTIG-200 is particularly cost efficient due to its accessories, which include a TIG welding torch with a 4m cable, an electrode holder with a 2m cable, an earth clamp with a 1.5m cable, a chipping hammer, and a wire brush.
Stepless Controller/Regulator
The HYTIG-200 TIG welder is equipped with a stepless regulator that allows for infinitely variable control of the welding current, as well as a low current capability for welding thinner materials effectively. The HYTIG-160’s welding (output) current may be adjusted between 10-200 Amperes, making the HYTIG-200 adaptable to welding various materials and steel thicknesses.
Duty Cycle Information
Always check the ‘Duty Cycle’ on lower-quality devices. The duty cycle of a welder is the length of time it may be employed on a specific output within a ten-minute period. For instance, our 200A welder operates at a duty cycle of 60% when used with a 200A output (TIG) or 60% when used with a 160A output (MMA/ARC). This equates to three and a half minutes each ten-minute interval.
Duty cycles for the Hyundai welder range are shown below:
Model | Output Amperage / Duty Cycle / Period of use within 10 minute period | ||
---|---|---|---|
MMA120 | 70A / 100% / 10minutes | 90A / 50% / 6minutes | 120A / 35% / 3.5minutes |
MMA160 | 95A / 100% / 10minutes | 120A / 50% / 6minutes | 160A / 35% / 3.5minutes |
MMA200P | 155A / 100% / 10minutes | 200A / 60% / 6minutes | |
TIG200 | 155A / 100% / 10minutes | 200A / 60% / 6minutes | |
Mig180 | 105A / 100% / 10minutes | 140A / 60% / 6minutes | 180A / 35% / 3.5minutes |
Cheaper, lower-quality welders may claim to have a specific amp output, but may really have a very low duty cycle at that amp output. Always verify the duty cycle to ensure you are receiving the greatest value for your money
latest Inverter Technology
Hyundai welders employ inverter technology, which provides a number of benefits over more typical transformer welders. Inverter welders are often lighter, more affordable, and use less input power to provide a comparable output. This makes them more cost effective to acquire as well as to operate.
Protection Against Thermal Overload
Thermal overload protection is included to guarantee optimal endurance. Steel, stainless steel, copper, nickel, titanium, and their alloys are all suitable for welding.
All-Purpose Welder
The HYTIG-160 is an excellent all-arounder for welding with rods up to 4mm and is ideal for fabricators, farmers, home mechanics, mobile technicians, and do-it-yourself enthusiasts. The HYTIG-160 has a high frequency start, which results in a smooth arc strike.
Low-Maintenance
The HYTIG-200’s low service and maintenance needs make it exceptionally simple to use and maintain, and it comes with complete Hyundai UK spares support.

Know Your Welder
(MMA) Manual Metal Arc – Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA) or (MMAW) Manual Metal Arc Welding is flux shielded arc welding or informally as stick welding, is a manual arc welding process that uses a consumable electrode covered with a flux to lay the weld.
(TIG) Tungsten Inert Gas – Tungsten Inert Gas Welding (TIG) or (GTAW) Gas Tungsten Arc Welding is an arc welding process that uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode to produce the weld.
(MIG) Metal Inert Gas – Metal Inert Gas Welding (MIG), (GMAW) Gas Metal Arc Welding or (MAG) Metal Active Gas is a welding process in which an electric arc forms between a consumable wire electrode and the workpiece metal(s), which heats the workpiece metal(s), causing them to melt and join.
