Petrol Water Pump That’s Lightweight

85 litres per minute

The HY25-4 is designed to provide dependable performance and is capable of transmitting 85L/min with a 25mm / 1″ inlet and output. The pump body is constructed of a lightweight yet exceptionally robust aluminium alloy.

14-Metre Head

The overall head of the pump is 14m, while the maximum suction head is 4m. Please see the figure below for an explanation of the many meanings of head, in relation to a water pump. Some manufacturers refer to the ‘head’ as the ‘lift.’

Open Framed

It’s simple to transport and store since it’s housed within a tough open frame with a convenient carry handle, but the frame also protects the pump and motor from any harm.

Hose

Make sure you have your suction and layflat hoses available before operating your pump. The suction hose is utilised between the water source you want to transfer and the pump, and it is more strong and reinforced to prevent it from being ‘sucked’ flat while in use. The layflat hose is used on the pump’s exit and often sits ‘flat,’ hence the name. Use the minimum amount of suction pipe as feasible and position the pump as near to the water as possible.

Simply connect the strainer (the plastic ‘cage’ that comes with the pump) to the end of the suction line to prevent debris from being sucked into the pump and damaging the impeller. Then, using the supplied collars, connect the other end of the suction hose to the pump’s inlet. Attach your layflat hose to the other collar and run it to where you want the water released.

Auto Priming

This pump is self-priming, but you must fill the pump housing with water to produce a vacuum and begin the lifting operation. You may do this by removing the top cover of the pump casing and filling it with new water, then simply following the beginning instructions in the handbook to start pumping. Check for air leaks on the suction side, since they will prevent the pump from priming.
