Hyundai’s DHY11KSE is a powerful three-phase diesel generator. Suitable for powering three-phase equipment in your residence, company or factory, this diesel genset has a maximum output of 11KVA.

Powered by an 11hp HY380 diesel engine, the DHY11KSE is able to deliver a maximum output of 11KVA / 8.8kW.

Three-Phase Power

3-phase 400/230v generators are generally manufactured to power 400 volt, 3-phase equipment. Even while you can operate a limited quantity of 230v equipment on a solo basis from them, this is not their original use and it may be difficult to ‘balance’ the phases and avoid the generator from tripping out.

In order to use the generator’s full output, you must precisely ‘balance’ the loads on each phase while using just 230v output (the amount you are drawing from each phase of electricity).

Fitted with AVR Alternator

Equipped with an AVR alternator to provide clean energy, the DHY11KSE is appropriate for powering sensitive electronic equipment, such as TVs, PCs and laptops, in your home or company.

Compatibility with the ATS

An ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) system may be used to switch on the DHY11KSE automatically in the event of a power outage on the property, or it can be activated manually using a key. When power returns from the mains, the ATS module will then securely switch your generator off.

This is ideal for those who need to guarantee constant power – for example, if you run servers or have refrigeration units.

Silenced Generator

Housed under a weather-proof ‘silenced’ canopy, the DHY11KSE generates just 65dB @ 7 metres which making it a quiet standby generator that won’t bother you at home or work.

1500rpm Generator

1500rpm diesel generators are appropriate for static installation for daily prime power, as well as for regular standby generator/backup generator usage.

When used as a primary power source, a 1500 rpm generator’s water-cooled engine is less strained than a 3000 rpm generator’s, allowing you to get more usage out of it longer.

Economical Generator

Diesel generators are good for backup applications since occasionally petrol might grow stale and prevent a generator running. Our diesel generators also work happily on budget-friendly red diesel, without voiding the guarantee and making it cost-effective to replenish.

Delivery

Generator kVA Ratings

Our generators all have a greater kVA rating than a kW. This is because we have assumed the appliances you are intending to power have a load factor/power factor of 0.8 – consequently the ‘assumed’ kVA rating of the load would be greater. This is industry standard and it is typically advisable to scope the proper unit depending on the kW.
