Compact And Powerful Compressor
Hyundai’s HY5508 is a 550w direct-drive oil-free low noise air compressor with a small footprint.
Suitable for a Wide Range of Jobs
The HY5508 silent oil-free air compressor is great for air brushing, blowing away debris and dust, nailing, inflating tyres and inflatables, or running air tools, and is designed for DIY and light applications.
Compressor with Extremely Low Weight
The HY5508 whisper compressor is lighter than a traditional piston air compressor, weighing just 15kg. It is also fully oil-free, eliminating the possibility of oil contamination in the air supply.
Air Compressor on Wheels
For ease manoeuvrability, the HY5508 has four rubber-mounted feet and a carry handle.
Powered by a standard power outlet
It is excellent for the house, light workshop, or garage and is driven by a 550w motor directly attached to the oil-less air compressor pump and rubber mounted for minimal vibration. It is powered by a conventional mains 230v supply.
It does not require any maintenance.
When compared to traditional piston compressors, this maintenance-free compressor employs an oil-free diaphragm pump to create clean air and minimise noise.
Tank capacity: 8L
This compressor produces an air displacement of 4CFM/ 120 litres per minute and a maximum pressure of 7 bar/ 100psi with an 8-litre tank capacity.

Compressor Maintenance
Hyundai air compressor pressure safety valves have been modified to meet the current CE certification criteria. The safety valve’s pressure release pull ring has been removed to prevent it from being used to drain air from the compressor tank, which would cause the valve to wear out prematurely. The drain valve on the bottom of the tank should constantly be used to expel air and moisture.
