Hyundai’s DHY28KSE three-phase diesel generator is a powerful and robust unit. This diesel generator is ideal for powering three-phase equipment in your house, company, or factory. It has a maximum output of 28KVA.

The DHY28KSE is powered by a 27hp HY4100 diesel engine and has a maximum output of 28KVA / 22kW.

Three-Phase Electricity

Generally, three-phase 400/230 volt generators are designed to power 400 volt, three-phase equipment. While they are capable of powering a modest quantity of 230v equipment on their own, this is not their intended use, and it can be difficult to ‘balance’ the phases and prevent the generator from tripping out.

To operate the generator on 230v output alone and attain the generator’s maximum output capacity, you must precisely ‘balance’ the loads on each phase (the amount you are drawing from each phase of electricity).

Equipped with an AVR alternator that generates clean energy, the DHY28KSE is ideal for powering sensitive electronic devices in your home or office, including as televisions, computers, and laptops.

Compatible with ATS

The DHY28KSE can be started manually with the key or linked to an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) system, which will activate the generator automatically if there is a loss of power to the property. When power is restored from the mains, the ATS module securely shuts down your generator.

This is great for people who want continuous electricity, such as those who run servers or have refrigeration equipment.

kVA Ratings for Generators

All of our generators are rated in kVA rather than kW. This is because we’ve assumed the appliances you’ll be powering have a load factor/power factor of 0.8, which means the load’s ‘assumed’ kVA rating will be greater. This is industry standard, and it is normally preferable to scope the unit appropriately depending on the kW.
